An idea was born on a long drive back from Chandigarh after attending a common friends sisters wedding. Who knew that only after a month 2 best friends would jump into one of their biggest decisions of their lives, which would rock their core. The plan was not planned, organized or executed in a way that it should have been but as it is said the best things in life are never planned. So here we are and we are here to stay!!!!!
Kaveri Vij : A Science student from DPS RK Puram, I decided to pursue hospitality after school from Institute for International Management and Technology , Gurgaon because engineering was something I wasn’t made for is what I had always felt. Was given the opportunity to work with Radisson Edwardian Bloomsbury, UK from 2008 to 2009 as a part of my hospitality course. On completion of my course in 2011, I joined Pullman Gurgaon Central Park – Accor group in the events team (Food and Beverage Department) as a part of the pre-opening team. After a two and a half year stint of forming the basis of the events team to executing various events ranging from corporate , socials to hi end fashion shows for Ritu Beri, I decided to quit to pursue my further studies. Just when I was applying to universities the Chandigarh trip happened, and here I am pursuing what I love with my best friend. Life couldn’t have taken a better turn. Thought the road to Chandigarh was a straight highway but the road trip brought the perfect turn in my life – a realization to pursue my dream.
Akshay Chopra : After competing my schooling from DPS, RK Puram, it felt as if there was an ocean of choices out there. My luck took me to Institute for International Management and Technology , Gurgaon where I did my hospitality from, keeping my dream of tier cakes and bakes goods. The 2nd year joy ride was an internship at Holiday Inn, Oxford where my skills were honed and thrills were explored. After finishing college in 2011, I joined Trident Gurgaon as an intern in the bakery making the afternoon and evening breads and helping my seniors in the more intricate desserts. Working their was no cake walk and my dream of working in a bakery came crashing down and I changed my field to marketing and started working at Tattva Spa. After a year and a half I decided to do my further studies when the wedding card came from Chandigarh and all important future talk happened with Kaveri.
